Bands in 2013 are in too much hurry to leave their hometowns and play interstate. Sit tight, write some good songs and when you have played to everyone in your hometown and you are the best band you will ever be, then leave and tour the town closest to you.
There are a fuckload of cool bands out there, but they are getting drowned in apathy by people with not enough money or attention because every weekend there are 5 interstate bands who are comparatively dogshit clogging up the venues.
Playing in a band shouldn’t be a race and while travelling is amazingly cool, it should be something you work towards, not the first thing you do after writing a demo with a band you formed last week.
Clipped Wings will be taking their time to become a tighter more focused band, a band we can all be proud of every time we play.

Yeah, it would be cool. Not sure how many edge dudes and dudettes there are these days and I know there aren’t that many bands, but fuck, there has to be enough to make a sick line up.
